But this one thing I know…

“I’m pregnant and my husband is cheating and beats me .”

“My druggie ex-husband has custody of my kids and I am fighting to get them back.”

“My ex-husband told me that I do not have much longer to live and I have given up.”

” My family member is back on meth..again…

I am not one of those people. Thank you Jesus. But these are the people closest to me.  In the last 24 hours I have heard these things and more. Some things I simply cannot share. As if the above were not bad enough.

I know that I am thankful to GOD for removing me from that former life. That former drama. That world of dread.

I am so very grateful to the BIG INJUN MAN for just loving me and taking good care of me. Who cares if we bicker once in a blue-moon. It’s nothing. NOTHING. . He came home on Saturday with two silver boxes. One held a pair of earrings and another the matching bracelet. It was funky and fun, he picked them out. It was for no occasion whatsoever. Nothing.

I pray my friends can some day come to this point in their lives. I do not know how they go on day to day.

They have to start with putting God first. They have to stop trying to control their situations on their own accord. They have to completely surrender the very ONE who created them. Who should know how to fix them better than the ONE who formed them? The ONE who molded them. Shaped them. The ONE who put them together in the first place.

You can call me. I can give you advice. I can even pray for you. I can tell you to abandon the abusive situation you are in. But if you do nothing with that, and you do not surrender completely to the only ONE who can fix the mess, NOTHING will change.

I am Rachel. I have a skewed sense of reality and I like to live through my imagination. Unfortuntely, that has taken me down some rocky roads and I am here to share some snippets of what happens when a girl has a mind of her own.
